Accents,food and madness.
First off,a BIG thank you to Nadia, lunch at Matadoe was awesome, thank you so much and happy belated birthday!
The food at Matadoe was pretty good, but the burgers are small.Don't order them if you want a full meal. And fries + parmesan cheese = TASTE LIKE ASS.I got to hang out with the awesome people Nadia hangs out with today,(i.e,Rikki,Moony,Syah,Farhan,Tang Andy and Co.,hi guys!)So,today was lots of fun, with many of us speaking in brit accents, although Farhan(I believe that is his name,)is brilliant with accents, and after Matadoe,we decided to walk around a little until my mom came to pick me up.
I don't feel like going to salsa class today.I'm tired and lazy and I just wanna stay home and read Neil Gaiman's American Gods.
I nearly forgot how much I love mythology until I came across a link on wikipedia. One thing lead to another and pretty soon I was reading about greek god and goddesses and I remembered "I actually like this stuff!" I dug out my old books of greek heroes and before I knew it,I immersed myself in fable, just absorbing one after another.
I'm onto Egyptian mythology now.
Random fact:Homosexual relationships between older greek men and young boys was common those days.In fact,Hercules had a young servant/lover who was killed during the Argonaut's journey. He mourned and chose to stay on the island of the young man's death forever.
I'm probably just being creepy now.
