Merry Christmas

Man,mom pulled out all the stops this year!We had appetizers,little puffs with salmon mousse filling,little star-shaped pices of bread with egg salad topping sprinkled with caviar,and smoked herring pate and black olives,crudites with hummus and little olives,cherry tomatoes and feta cheese on sticks!

Those were just appetizers.Then we had turkey,crown roast,salad,roast potatoes,mint sauce,cranberry jam and gravy!

Then dessert was Pavlova,mince pies,ice cream and fruit cake

As for beverages,we had cocktails,mulled wine and various soft drinks.Mulled wine is so warming!Its red wine with sugar syrup that has been boiled with cinnamon,cloves and nutmeg.

So we don't celebrate christmas.That doesn't mean we can't have a feast.

But I didn't get ANY credit for what I did.Everyone loved the Pavlova but I made the meringue,whipped the cream and my mom said she made it.I also made Salmon mousse.

Oh well I'm content nonetheless
